This administrative unit answers to the Assistant Chief and the Chief of Police. Currently, the unit consists of one Sergeant, is responsible for internal affairs investigations, and is responsible for all citizens’ complaints. The unit works with the human resource department concerning new hires and recruitment for all positions within the Bryant Police Department. The unit is responsible for background investigations on potential applicants of the department. The unit reviews department policy and makes recommendations as necessary to the Chief of Police. The unit is the central hub for receiving and forwarding complaints to the Chief of Police.
