The Kitty Korner, the adult cat adoption area at Bryant Animal Control & Adoption Center, is an interactive cat utopia! Lots of toys, kitty games and places to climb, hide and play for the cats awaiting adoption at the shelter. The openness of the Kitty Korner allows the cats freedom of movement and allows them easily act out their natural behaviors, which makes their stay at the shelter so much less stressful for them. The project is anticipated to be complete by April 1st, 2022.
Which will be just in time for "Cat Season" to kick off at the animal shelter! In case you didn't know, "Cat Season" is that time of year, usually between April and October, when the shelter takes in the majority of the some 500 cats it intakes each year.
