REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
Industrial Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Consulting Services

The City of Bryant is seeking qualified industrial mechanical and electrical engineering consulting firms to provide professional services under an annual contract beginning January 2026. Firms with experience in industrial and municipal engineering--especially in utilities, wastewater, mechanical systems, and electrical power distribution--are invited to submit qualifications.

Monday, January 5, 2026 - 9:00 AM

Submit five (5) hard copies and one (1) electronic copy in a sealed envelope marked:
"RFQ FOR INDUSTRIAL MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING SERVICES"

Qualifications will be reviewed privately. Selected firms may be asked to provide supplemental information or participate in interviews before final selection. The City may award the contract to one or multiple firms based on qualifications and project needs. 

Scope of Services May Include:
Selected firm(s) may support a wide range of industrial mechanical and electrical engineering needs, including:

  • Equipment and piping layout and fabrication design
  • Electrical power distribution
  • Wastewater treatment plant improvements and expansion
  • Water and wastewater pump station upgrades or replacement
  • Additional mechanical or electrical engineering services as needed

The City reserves the option to award different service areas to different firms, depending on qualifications. 

Evaluation Criteria:

  • Specialized experience and technical competence
  • Capacity to perform work within required timeframes
  • Past performance, including cost control, work quality, and schedule adherence
  • Familiarity with the Bryant area and local conditions

Shortlisted consultants may be invited to present their qualifications. 

The City reserves the right to reject any or all submissions, request clarification, negotiate terms, and make awards in the City's best interest.
