Network Monitoring FAQ Addendum Updated July 7, 2025 at 1:45 PM

  1. Does pricing need to be provided?
    1. No, this is a request for qualifications only. Pricing will be negotiated with the selected vendor. Pricing does not need to be provided in the submission. 
  2. Is the Cyber Liability Insurance requirement to provide coverage to the City of Bryant? 
    1. The coverage we require the vendor to have in place is coverage for the vendor while under contract and performing work for the City of Bryant. 
  3. Is Laserfiche used as a repository or a backup? 
    1. Repository
  4. How many servers does the City of Bryant have?
    1. 16 virtual servers plus 6-8 hosts. 
  5. Is the client list required to provide in the RFQ private information? Can it be shared if requested? 
    1. This information is available to the public upon request. Please provide contact information that is acceptable to share. We are seeking references with similar scope, i.e. other public entities. 
  6. Is the 30-day notification negotiable? 
    1. Yes, the 30-day contract termination is negotiable. 
  7. Is the City of Bryant open to converting to a different back-up service or anti-virus service? 
    1. Yes, but contract terms with current vendors must be considered before switching.

The City of Bryant is seeking qualified IT professionals or firms to provide comprehensive network monitoring services for multiple city facilities. This RFQ is intended to establish a three-year contract (with possible annual renewals) to ensure reliable, secure, and proactive management of the city’s technology infrastructure.

Interested firms should demonstrate proven experience with network monitoring, workstation and server support, antivirus administration, mobile device management, and help desk services. Special attention will be given to firms with past performance in municipal or high-security environments and those that meet CJIS compliance standards.

📌 Scope Includes (but is not limited to):

  • 24/7 remote network monitoring

  • Server and workstation support

  • Firewall & antivirus management

  • Backup and disaster recovery oversight

  • On-site troubleshooting as needed

  • Support for future IT initiatives (including .gov email transition)
