CLASS DESCRIPTIONS 

BARRE - This class uses light weights and various props to provide a fat burning workout that will strengthen and tone the entire body. This class is low impact and emphasizes small isometric movements that create long, lean muscles.  

BUNS & GUNS – High intensity strength training designed to build strong, toned arms and shoulders, while also focusing on lifting and toning your bottom. 

BUTTS & GUTS - Who doesn’t want a firm butt and a flat, toned stomach?? This class is a combination of lower body, abs and lower back exercises designed to tone, sculpt and strengthen the lower body and core. 

CORE CARDIO – Can’t get rid of that stubborn belly fat? This cardio class will use high intensity interval training to get your heart rate up and increase your metabolism-even for hours after you leave the gym! It will also focus on exercises that strengthen your core, which will improve your posture and help you stand taller and look leaner. 

HEAVY STRENGTH TRAINING - This class uses barbells, trap bars, landmine, nautilus machines and various other modalities. The goal of this class is to build lean muscle and increase bone density by lifting heavier weights with less repititions. The instructor will teach you how to use the equipment properly and use spreadsheets so you can track your progress throughout the month. This class is appropriate for all levels!

HIIT – This high energy circuit class uses the high intensity interval training method to give you a powerful workout that will not only blast calories during class, but for up to 24 hours afterwards! 

KETTLEBELL TRAINING - Kettlebell training will build long lean muscles, improve strength and power in the upper body, core and lower body and increase co-ordination, joint mobility and overall endurance. It will challenge both the muscular and cardiovascular systems with dynamic, total body movements. 

POWER YOGA – A powerful and energetic yoga sequence, focusing on breath with movement. Will begin class with gentle movements to warm up the body, then into a progressively more power flowing sequence like sun salutations, warrior poses, inversions, repetitive flows, balancing poses, and peak poses. A great cardiovascular work out that builds strength and flexibility. The teacher will allow options to create a practice that feels good and is safe for your body. 

PILATES CORE - Mat pilates involves performing pilates exercises on the floor using a pilates, or yoga mat. Exercises in mat pilates can also involve basic pilates equipment such as a pilates ring, resistance band, or weighted balls. Mat pilates exercises are performed in a slow, controlled, precise manner and require an intense concentration. These exercisses help strengthen the body’s core by developing pelvic and scapula stability, and abdominal control, using focused breathing patters. The main fitness goals of a mat pilates program include improved flexibility, muscle tone, body balance, spinal support, low back health, sports performance, and body-mind awareness.

 STRENGTH TRAINING – Total body workout using body weight exercises, free weights, and resistance bands. From beginners, to intermediates, this low impact workout is perfect for anyone who wants to build strength, add definition, increase bone density and decrease body fat by increasing lean muscle!! 

STRETCH & FLOW - This class combines yoga, pilates, and animal flow. We will spend the first part of class warming up the body with some low impact body weight flows, followed by some deep stretching-starting with our feet and working out way up to our hips, back, and neck.  

TF BOOT CAMP – Kettlebells, TRX, ropes, dead balls, Bosu Balls, tires, etc. This class is designed to give you an intense, calorie torching, full body workout! Every class is different and will challenge you in different ways!   

T-BARRE-X - This class combines the use of TRX suspension straps (amazing for enhancing core strength) and traditional barre moves. Prepare to be surprised by how deeply you will engage your core muscles as you work through a challenging series of barre and body strength moves. The use of the straps to help stabilize your spine, and assist with balance, will allow for increased range of motion. This increased range of motion leads to a more intense “burn” than a traditional mat Barre class.  Like traditional Barre, this class is low impact and is ideal for everyone from beginners to advanced. 

TRX – This core-powered workout uses TRX suspension training to give you an intense cardio/strength workout! When appropriate, other equipment-such as slam balls, kettle bells, etc-will be used in combination with the straps to give you a full body cardio and strength workout! 

TRX BASICS – Use suspension straps, combined with your body weight, to increase total-body flexibility, promote mobility and stability and develop core strength. This class focuses on technique, flexibility, balance, and strength by developing basic foundational exercises through easy to follow progressions. 

TONE AND ROW – This class will use rowers and different types of strength training equipment (weights, bands, etc) to give you a full body workout that includes both cardio and strength training! Suitable for all fitness levels!

TOTAL CORE - This class combines Pilates, Yoga, and Barre to help you build out the muscles in your powerhouse-abs, back, and glutes. This is a low impact class and is appropriate for all levels. 

YOGA ALL-LEVELS - This yoga class is appropriate for beginners and advanced students. 

YOGA FOUNDATIONS – Designed as an introduction to basic yoga poses and proper alignment. Students will explore their practice and become more familiar with poses and use of the breath. The teacher will lead you through a Vinyasa flow that synchronizes movement with breath to help the student develop a greater sense of self-awareness, harmony, and balance with themselves. Classes will be guided by the force of inhales and exhales with variations of Sun Salutations as well as standing postures, twists, backbends, forward bends, inversions, and ending with deep relaxation.
