The City of Bryant and Keep Bryant Beautiful is excited to announce the first ever Bryant “Battle of the Bags.”  The event is to take place Sunday, September 23 from 1:30-4:00 pm.

This will be a fun, Ward vs Ward- Community Clean Up competition, encouraging citizens to get out and make a difference in their neighborhood.

“Everyone in Bryant is encouraged to participate in Battle of the Bags” stated Mayor Jill Dabbs. She noted that “all civic and service organizations, churches, individuals, families, businesses, and neighborhoods can team up to help us continue to Keep Bryant Beautiful.”

The Ward with the most bags of litter collected will win the Battle of the Bags trophy and bragging rights that you live in the cleanest area in Bryant. The Ward winner will be announced and recognized at the regular City Council meeting September 25, 2018 with a cookout for all the volunteers before the meeting.

“When we all work together as a community to Keep Bryant Beautiful, we can create a community that is inviting and that everyone wants to be a part of,” said Tiffany Dunn, Clean-Up Coordinator.  Dunn continued, “with participation from the community we can all make a difference in keeping our community clean and litter free.”

We will have areas identified as our clean-up areas as we get closer to the event. To join Keep Bryant Beautiful and volunteer, email Tiffany Dunn at  For questions regarding the event, contact the mayor’s office at 501-943-0302.
