“Bryant firefighters have been working out of mobile homes for many years. I am thrilled they will have better stations in which to serve our citizens from in the future. These stations will be very important community anchors at both of these locations and will improve our response time for emergencies and improve our fire service to the airport. Much thought relating to community and economic development went toward the placement of both of these stations,” stated Mayor Jill Dabbs.
Groundwork is under way at both locations and construction is expected to begin this month. Baldwin & Shell, construction company contracted by the city to oversee the bond projects, estimates both facilities should be completed by November of this year.
We encourage all residents, school officials, airport commissioners, and local leaders to join us for these exciting community events. Photo opportunities will be available throughout the event and Mayor Dabbs along with Bryant Fire Chief J.P. Jordan will be available for questions and comments.
If you need additional information regarding the groundbreaking or bond projects please contact the mayor’s office at 501-943-0302.
