The Bryant Mayor's Youth Advisory Council (MYAC) is an organization that is geared toward getting the youth in the community more involved in the community and to better understand the way city government works. We also strive to prepare the students of today to fill the shoes of being the model citizens of tomorrow. We also volunteer around the City of Bryant and volunteers at citywide events (Fall Fest, Starlight Gala for the Boys and Girls Club, Arkansas Wildlife Federation, etc.). The Bryant MYAC is in place to reach out to youth in the City of Bryant who would like to be more involved with the community and the city. The Bryant MYAC also helps with issues around Bryant. One project that we continually work on is the Walkability Study for the City of Bryant, where we observe city side walks and streets and our main goal for the future would be to make Bryant more connected and more friendly to walkers. The council not only looks great on a college application, but it brings out the youth leaders in the community who can step up and take a stand in what they believe in and what they want to see happen to their city.
